Lucas County Domestic Violence Multi-disciplinary Team (DV-MDT)
The mission of DV-MDT is to work collaboratively to promote a thorough understanding of case issues and to assure the most effective system responses possible. DV-MDT coordinates intervention, so as to reduce potential trauma to families experiencing domestic violence issues.Under the direction of Lucas County Children Services, DV–MDT meets on a biweekly basis. The team is made up of representatives from Lucas County Children Services, Lucas County Sheriff’s Office, Family Services of Northwest Ohio, Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office, Open Dorr Family Resource Center, Toledo Police Department, Family and Child Abuse Prevention Center, Toledo Municipal Prosecutor’s Office, Bethany House, YWCA Battered Women’s Shelter, Adelante, Inc., and Lucas County Domestic Relations Court.
