Wood County Sexual Abuse Prevention Project Committee (SAPP)
Founded in 1982, the committee designed and implemented the Sexual Abuse Prevention Project in the schools. The committee is chaired by Family and Child Abuse Prevention Center and meets when needed to work on programs and workshops. The SAPP Committee is made up of representatives of agencies who work in the field of child protection, mental health, prevention services, and education. These agencies include: Children’s Resource Center, Wood County Department of Job and Family Services/Children’s Services Unit, Johnson Associates, school guidance counselors, and Family and Child Abuse Prevention Center. jknox@wcnet.org
