What is Coaching Boys into Men?
- National program for coaches to talk to young boys before attitudes and perceptions of women and girls become entrenched.
- Created by hundreds of coaches and athletes from professional and amateur sports.
- Developed by Family Violence Prevention Fund in partnership with the National High School Athletic Coaches Association and WARM2Kids.
What are the Goals of Coaching Boys Into Men?
- Violence is learned…dating and sexual violence is preventable
- Our goal is to change formative attitudes of young boys by encouraging coaches to shape their attitudes towards girls
- It can be prevented for next generations
What is DELTA’s role with Coaching Boys Into Men?
- Our local “Call to Men” group has selected this project for implementation.
