The program runs every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and every Friday from 5:30-7:30 p.m.* Participants are required to be on time to group and will be turned away and not allowed to participate should they be late to group. If participants cannot make a group session they are asked to contact this agency as soon as possible to report their absence. It is the responsibility of the men in group to keep in contact with this agency regarding absences and their participation. Lack of attendance and/or communication is grounds for removal from group.

*Unless previous notification is given by co-facilitators regarding a cancellation or change.
The Batterers Intervention Program is a self-pay program and we do not accept insurance. There is no sliding fee scale so all participants will agree at the outset to pay all of the fees associated with the program.

Assessments are $30.00 and participants are required to pay that fee at the conclusion of their assessment. Each group session is $20.00, so the entire cost of the program (assessment and 26 sessions) is $550.00. Participants are not considered to have completed group until they attend all required sessions and pay their balance in full.
The co-facilitators of this group have regular contact with other professionals and organizations (probation officers, courts, children's services workers, etc.). Participants can request that information regarding their participation in the Batterers Intervention Program be sent to those other professionals. It is up to participants to request that information be sent by this agency.
Participants who attend the Batterers Intervention Program are expected to:
  • Participate regularly in group.
  • Complete all required group milestones associated with the program.
  • Sign a Waiver of Confidentiality allowing co-facilitators to have regular contact with necessary individuals associated with participants.
  • Be respectful of other participants and the co-facilitators when in group.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of group and those in it.
  • Keep in regular contact with this agency regarding any absences.
  • Stay up-to-date on their payments towards the program.
