CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION PROGRAM
The Child Abuse Prevention Program (CAPP) is a free curriculum that teaches children about personal safety topics such as recognizing abusive situations and how to seek help from trusted adults. The goal of CAPP is to increase safety skills in a positive, empowering, and age appropriate way. There are full programs available for Preschool through 4th Grade, and mini curricula available for students up to 12th grade; the program is always evolving and expanding.
The Child Abuse Prevention Program reaches thousands of students each year in private, public, and community schools. The program also reaches children in several other learning settings and child-oriented environments. The curriculum materials and presenter trainings are available to any child-serving organization interested in participating. Please contact Megan Jackson at [email protected] or 419.244.3053 ext. 227 for more information.
